These trends suggest that employees, who once leveraged the tight job market to insist on maintaining their WFH status, are now reconsidering their demands. While WFH has undeniable benefits, it's worth asking whether an unwavering "I'm not going back" attitude serves the best interests of businesses and customers.


To address this concern, I propose you take a step towards a more balanced model by limiting WFH to two days a week for local employees. This approach respects the need for flexibility while ensuring that the core benefits of an office environment are not overlooked. Here are a few points to consider:


1. **Promoting Collaboration and Learning**: An office setting encourages regular interactions that foster a culture of collaboration and mentoring, crucial for the growth and development of new and junior employees.


2. **Strengthening Team Cohesion**: Face-to-face meetings, brainstorming sessions, and casual office interactions contribute to building strong, unified teams. These are subtle yet vital dynamics that a pure WFH setup might fail to capture.


3. **Enhancing Work-Life Boundaries**: WFH, while flexible, can blur the lines between work and personal life. A balance of office and WFH days can help maintain these boundaries, promoting healthier work habits.


4. **Maintaining Employee Engagement**: Being physically present in the office can help employees feel more connected to the organization's mission, values, and culture, fostering a greater sense of commitment and belonging.
